best white leather sneaker for under 1.5 grand
I need a basic white pair of white sneakers thatI can wear all,the time with jeans that are durable, breathable, and most of all comfortable, I have zero knowledge of sneakers.
Here is what I have tried so far:
brunelli cucninelli deerskin sneakers (meh, I have jeans by them that are good but the brand is stuffy)
common project achilles (my poor feet, these suck to walk in)
tod's tabs (boring and stiff as hell)
magnanni costa low (soles are bricks)
want to try:
APL nostalgia
golden goose superstar (no one here has my size to try)
crown northampton (12 week wait time puts me off)
anything else I should consider?
Anyone here with golden goose I would like to ask you about yours

proxy sketches me out and mexico 66 isnt nice enough for my jean+ sport coat outfit, I need a white leather converse thats comfortable like you wore it for a year but with the same materials like a set of dress shoes but durable
mexico 66 is just a wrestling shoe at its core and I respect it for it, but you cant get away with it in jeans and sport coat

thats why i said insoles then, sometimes its cushon but here just that it doesnt fit the bottom of you foot

this brand is so hard to get actual reviews on, even when I ask people who own them either adore them or say they are a waste

people have claimed they're able to walk without socks but every foot is different and if you experienced pain with achilles or tod's then you may want an actual cushioned shoe and/or insoles

common projects were too fragile, I destroyed them so fast
depends on how much you walk in them each day and how many other shoes you rotate in
why you worried about durability, just buy ten pairs of $150 sneakers and they'll last you for years
I walk with a sense of purpose everywhere
if you're trying to wear these daily especially if you drag your heels they will not last as long as you probably want

and tend to stick with stuff I like, I dont drag heels and I am very toe first walking because I am a runner

FWIW I wore Stans as my only shoe on a two week Japan/Taiwan trip and covered 10+ miles per day and they held up fine
I have a commuter shoe, these are more of just the best low top I like
I rest my head on stan smiths instead of a pillow every night

because I was careful with my achilles and they fell apart in months from casual wearing

I feel like gg are better durability just bc they come pre dirtied but I never wore them very much bc of the back destroying my heels
they look very nice which caugt my eye in the first place and the one person I know irl has a pair said they are one of the few brands you can buy new that feel perfectly worn in already
