Looking for slubby jeans with a rise above 12 inched
I've recently gotten back into the raw denim game and purchased a few pairs that I absolutely love. Indigofera Kain, Ironheart 888, Sugarcane Okinawa and Oni Relaxed Straight Crushed Concrete. They all fit great, and they all have a rise that's 12 inches or greater. I'm good(for now) on denim with lots of nep, I'm looking for a slubby pair next. I really love how these SDA jeans look, but the rise is a touch short at 11.5 inches for my size. I've got a long torso so a higher rise helps balance things out. Two questions: 1: Are there jeans with a comparable amount of slub and a 12 inch rise for a 34 inch waist? 2: Is a half inch lower rise even going to be noticeable? I have a tendency to overthink things so if it doesn't make a huge difference I may as well get the SDA. https://bears-tokyo.myshopify.com/products/studio-dartisan-sp-108-45th-aigoku-slub-jeans-16oz-regular-straight

How to do a modern take on 90's Armani suit tailoring
I want to try something a little different for a casual, going out outfit, not a work or professional fit but I have zero idea how to pull it off. Basically I like the look of early 90s Armani suits, very flowy, loose, drapey etc. I don't want to just buy a vintage Armani suit and have it look dated or like a costume though. Is there a way to do a modern take on this Armani styling, and if so how would you go about doing it? https://www.gq.com/story/vintage-armani-looks-so-cool The reason I'm hesitant to just buy shit on my own is the way the shits fit flies in the face of what I normally look for: The shoulders are bigger and wider than the should be, the chest is loose to the point it looks like the model is wearing a couple sizes large than he should be, same with the waist. But somehow it still looks good IMHO

Fatigue/Baker pants in fabrics other than sateen?
I've been on a surplus kick lately, have a pair of green OG 107 pants from the 60s on the way in. I love Baker pants, I'd like to get a couple pairs with more texture. What would you recommend for fatigues in something like wool, moleskin, corduroy, etc? https://www.alphaindustries.com/products/mbc53501co-corduroy-fatigue-pant
