Is WTP 100 needed for Coop?
I'm going into my 3rd semester, and I have 4 days left to submit my application for WTP 100.
What I heard from talking to someone working at Seneca Works is that WTP100 is not necessarily required for everyone who wants to do a Coop after 3rd sem. Is this true?
I've previously worked as a digital marketer in Vancouver so I already know how to design and write my cv and cover letter, not to mention the application process; so I was wondering if I'll be wasting $500 if building resume is all we're gonna do in that 'course'.
If someone can share their experiences and opinions taking the WTP100, I'll be happy to hear it.

General Education courses as CPA student
Hello all, I have some questions regarding General Education courses that we have to take as students in the CPA program:
1. Do we have to take 1 arts & humanities course, 1 social sciences and 1 chosen from either categories, so total of 3 General Education courses throughout the program to graduate?
2. Although it varies largely from courses to courses, how much time in a week do these courses generally take to complete assignments, tests and projects, if any?
3. Would taking Online or Hybrid GE courses save time? I want more time to focus on learning C++ and JS instead of spending hours on writing or listening to professors in GE courses
4. Based on your experiences, can you recommend any courses that were fun, easy and not time-consuming? OR give a list of courses not to take?
5. Lastly, would taking 2 GE courses in the 2nd semester along with 4 other required courses be overwhelming due to heavy loads of work?
I would appreciate it if you can even answer one question!

Any Mac users in the program?
I bought M1 Macbook Pro 14' last year, hoping I will be using this in the school to code. Unfortunately, I heard it's best to use Windows in CPA/CPP program due to Mac not being compatible with Seneca's software. If this is the case, I was thinking of installing Windows on Mac with the use of Virtual Machine. Has anyone tried this at all?
tldr: Is it possible to use Mac in the program or will I suffer a lot from using it?

New CPA student starting in May: how should I prepare?
Hi friends,
I'm a CPA student starting my first term in May, and I'm wondering how I can prepare for the courses in advance. I do have previous coding experience in OOP with Java from another 2-year college and in full-stack web development with Python, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS from coding bootcamp in Seattle, but these were about 5 years ago.
Since the CPA courses start with C and Linux/Unix which I have never learned before, I'm wondering if it will be a good idea to spend some time learning these, probably from Udemy. Do you guys think preparing for such courses in advance is necessary by all means? If so, I will appreciate it if you can provide some recommended websites to learn these besides Udemy.
After all, I'm aiming for a perfect 4.0 when I graduate as I'm in my late 20s trying to finally achieve my goal of becoming a successful web developer.
tldr: Is preparing for courses (C / Unix / Linux) in advance is necessary to get a 4.0 GPA? If yes: please give some sources to learn online!
