Well that would do it, it seems your bed is bent in the middle down 😦
already sent the email to rr. Just wanted a second opinion
DHL wrecked my entire order
oof, sorry to hear that Doom
i just got the replacement rails today and they are perfectly parralel, Previous ones where bent perpendicular to the mounting axis, about 3mm from one side to the other
also they bent the steel plates:)))
Damn 😦 you should definitely get a replacement
@D00M-_ if you use the same side of the ruler and run it on the bottom of the bed, do you see the opposite hump that you do on the top? Trying to make sure your straight edge is straight 🙂 Is the bed the upgraded machined one? Either way it seems like if beds are within 0.1% flat, 0.5mm for a 500mm bed, you are within tolerances.
The straight edge is straight. On the bottom there is the opposite
In the van they let something fall on it and bent it
It is the machined one. Tho my issue is if and when i heat it... It will bend more. This is already at the limit
Also the box it was shipped in had damage
i also increased the mesh size and points to get the full bed
[bed_mesh]
probe_count: 50,50
mesh_min: 10,10
mesh_max:490,470
If you don't get a replacement I'm gonna cancel my order 🤣
Either it was defective or something bigger than a box landed on it. I doubt you would be able to bend that bed standing on it even. Reach out to [email protected].
I did, waiting on then to answer
and yeah, i did try standing on it to see if it would be bent back
and no
it didnt budge
put the edges on two logs and stood on it
im 80kg
Its getting replaced!!!
I currently have extra parts to make a new printer... B-Stock printer=))
x/y rails, x extrusion, both baseplates and soon potato chip bed
"yay"!
