Adding mods to server

Hello! just opened a dedicated server via epicgames and have it all setup, I want to install mods onto it, however I see a section on Satisfactory mod manager, to configure server via the app, how do I do this? it says it will auto recognize the server and add it if its on my computer and ran through epic games but i do not see it. and for adding it manually, how do i do that? its asking for a username and passowrd but im unsure of the username, however password i do know, and the other options...

It should already be in the drop down box at the top left if it's on the same PC as SMM

Create a mod ; How to Change how the game acts normally

I thought a lot and I think I'm ready to build a mod that makes you play the game the other way around. Like you start by using Mk3 that require BWD which can be obtained from node, just In the documentation for new modders you learn how to create recipes, but you don't learn how to change recipes nor how the game works, by example changing the iron node to give you other items, change the base recipes of objects like mk3 miner as the first miner, how much it mines per min, how to change schematics (milestones) instead of adding new ones...

New to Satisfactory modding

Hello all. im sure you get a million of these but i cannot seem to get the mods to work. i have installed them on the SMM installed it lauch the game using the laucher i can see it in the game menu mod section start the game cannot use the mods what am i doing wrong?...

Have you checked the HUB, MAM, and awesome shop for unlocks?

Map won't load after working fine a few hours ago.

Stayed up till late building a coal factory, hadn't added power to anything, no structural or machine mods other than power shards from cheat mod. Some structures where from uploaded blueprints, no issue there though. Before I turned off the game I was putting down everything from the refined power mod just to look, didn't hook anything up besides installing some reactor pieces together. Shut the game off, tried to get back on around 11, starting the game through SMM I got to title screen, and l...

the game started to freeze

I downloaded mods for Satis, played, then went to the same save without them and deleted them, then I play on a completely vanilla Satis, the game starts to lag from time to time and then stops, sometimes it reaches terrible sagging, any ideas on what can be done to stop it from hanging, remake the save for example.

Can't get into a friend's game. Endless loading and crashes

Hi, everybody! I'm facing a problem. We play with a group of friends (with mods) when I try to come in is ENDLESS loading and sometimes crashes. When we change the save to the past then everything works out. We could leave it like that and forget about it, but there is no guarantee that it will happen again. I will be happy to help and answer any questions you may have P.S I'm using a translator, forgive me. 🙂...

Hi. Please can someone help. I have installed satisfactory mod manager on my windows device but am getting a message saying "cannot launch this install". I have verified the install of satisfactory on steam and it all checks out. How can I resolve this so I can use mods?

alternative to smart 1.0

I'm looking for a mod that's like smart but usable for 1.0. I know there is "zoopables" and "zoop spawn for vanilla machines" mods which are nice but i'm curious if there is any mods that work with modded machines. If there isn't a mod like that, is there a work around to get smart to work on 1.0 or does it just not work at all. The reason i want to use a mod like that is i'm playing with the spaceblock mod in which you make all materials from 1 omni-material which you need to do in a modded machine. This means you will need to place a lot of that machine and so you can't zoop them with the mods i mentioned even though i would love to....

Solution:

Your only other option might be Blueprint Zooper ― create blueprints for your modded machines, and then zoop-build the blueprints.

Container Screens v1.0.27 is broken

The info screen does not work at all. No matter where I place the sign I get the screen shown. Also, when I go into the properties of a sign, my mouse is still attached to the game and I cannot change the settings at all. v1.0.24 works fine. When I downgrade none of these issues occur....

Digital storage ... Message "sending items back to storage"

When using Crafting terminal, I have several messages "sending items back to storage". I don't know how to react to these messages. Did I miss something in setup or what shall I do to get rid of them? It seems like the crafting fails for whatever reason and items can't be returned to storage? Did anyone received similar messages and what could be solution to get rid of them, or what am I missing?

Stack resize input buffer question

Haven’t installed pre release versions of stack resized yet but just for when I do what options would I need to enable/dis in order for the machines to have their default input and output buffer sizes?

Solution:

By default, none of the input buffer settings are enabled. Your machines will not be impacted by the update alone, you'd have to enable it in Mod Settings.
