I did some reading, and apparently fastPBR offers GI through HBIL instead of RSM. I still have similar shadow issues with it (shadows flickering on and off when panning camera or moving around; even on SSAO mode which is odd). Granted, it's not as seizure inducing as with SEUS.

That seemed to be the immediate answer on a couple YouTube videos with similar visual bugs. I can verify this as well by simply switching the Optifine where it works perfectly - not that OF is necessarily a great long term solution. Thanks.
