Iris & SEUS Renewed Lighting + Shadow Visual Bug

Hi all! I have been happily using Iris+DH+Bliss for a while now but want to try and resolve this issue that's preventing me from using SEUS (when DH is disabled of course). Pretty sure my setup is standard, but maybe I'm doing something wrong? I've tried: Changing between Windowed and True Fullscreen. Changing between SEUS 1.0.0, 1.01, Bliss, Continuum (Bliss and Continuum really do not do indoors justice compared to SEUS Renewed, but they do not glitch out). Removing the whole install from the launcher and setting up fresh. Endless fiddling with settings before defaulting everything again out of frustration (and then immediately disabling motion blur). Details: MC 1.20.1 Fabric Loader 15.7 Iris 1.7-alpha 1 Sodium 0.58 Indium 1.0.30+ Fabric API 0.92.0 Happy to provide more info. I currently have a couple of other mods installed to help with DH stability (Resolution control, chunky, borderless mining) but can and have replicated this bug without them installed. Thanks!

You're using distant horizons right? It's not in the list you gave The shader you're using is not listed in #dh-shader-testing It is not compatible with DH and Iris 1.7 at this time

yes I just read that Maybe you can help me out with a better answer, but the 1 thing I can think of is just that Iris 1.7 is alpha and not perfect Please correct me if I missed something else

It's likely SEUS Renewed's problem it uses a very antiquated and special way of GI (Global Illumination) that's unique to it to my knowledge, called RSM It has never worked right with Iris

That seemed to be the immediate answer on a couple YouTube videos with similar visual bugs. I can verify this as well by simply switching the Optifine where it works perfectly - not that OF is necessarily a great long term solution. Thanks. I did some reading, and apparently fastPBR offers GI through HBIL instead of RSM. I still have similar shadow issues with it (shadows flickering on and off when panning camera or moving around; even on SSAO mode which is odd). Granted, it's not as seizure inducing as with SEUS.
