SN1 or SN2
KOH can be used for both SN1 and SN2, it depends on the substrate taken, here there is a possibility for a stable carbocation so I said SN1
Now if I were to take primary propanol or something, that time SN2 will take place

This is how I see it,
2m block there is no upward force so there won’t be any opposite force, in this case T on 2m will be 0
m block there isn’t tension acting on it bc the 2m block is also moving with m block [u can compare this to the case where tension will act when the ceiling is fixed] so here even the “ceiling” is moving so there isn’t any necessity of tension
So here even if u remove the string both blocks fall with same acc as with string
