Frequent Timeouts On Velocity
So I have a private fabric server network behind a velocity proxy hosted on OCI. The backend(s) uses fabric 1.21 and fabricproxylite for velocity support It works, but my players keep getting timeouts randomly while playing.

Backend (one of them): Fabric 1.21/FabricProxyLite SVC: fabric-1.21.1-2.5.26 (newest, backend) velocity-2.5.24 (newest, velocity) --- Using the test tool at https://github.com/henkelmax/svc-cli-utils: On proxy:
ubuntu@velocityproxy:~$ ./svc ping [backend ip]:24456
Sending pings to [backend ip]:24456:
Pinging... (1/10)

Player Retention | Long Duration Worlds
I know this has been asked many times before, but this time, I’m trying to get some opinions. Session based? If you run a session based/have experience with one, what was it like? Was it better to go with sessions, or should the server stay on at all times? World border? Is it a good idea to restrict world border? If so, by how much? Semi hardcore? If we end up going with a session based mechanic, would it be a good idea to ban a player until the next session if they die (items retained, or not?) Then, mods. I know it’s a complex topic, and the answer may be different for everyone. Is a terrain gen mod worth the effort, does it somewhat help with player retention, or is it just β€œlazy”, as you lose the need to terraform when building? And finally What are some of the things that you enjoy the most (and hate about) on a multiplayer server (things the managers do, modified game mechanics, etc etc?) What mechanics (as a server owner or player) do you employ to keep a world fun over a longer duration of time (to combat the β€œtwo-week syndrome”)? Thanks in advance for answering my bombardment of questions lol. Feel free to throw in personal experiences or stories, all questions are open ended!

Need help with a crash report
So this crash report came from my production server, it seemingly crashed randomly (not during startup). I have the exact same list (and versions) of all mods on my dev server, and that works well. Server: Fabric 1.21

Nerfing (or disabling) minimaps
Minimap mods on fabric clients are way too OP, to the point of it creating an unfair advantage for those without the mod. Is there a way for me to nerd/disable this realistically? Server: Fabric 1.21

Need a few suggestions on mods
So I've been running a fabric (1.21) server for a while, and I've been looking at some potential options for mods that make the game more interesting, but also staying as close as possible to vanilla. We have tried: Terralith (positive feedback) BetterEnd (negative feedback) BetterNether (negative feedback) Bosses Of Mass Destruction (no feedback) True Ending (no feedback) and similiar other mods The issue is though, these mods drive the game further and further from vanilla, putting some players (me included) that does not want to get out of the comfort zone of vanilla into a weird situation. So if possible, what other mods should I try that are more focused around vanilla mechanics? Currently considering: Geophilic 2.0 End Reborn Croptopia Lithosphere

Client Side AntiCheat
Ever since I installed antixray on the server, my players have been getting more and more creative with how to xray, some using hacked clients such as wurst or fabric mods to freecam their way into caves and locating ores, is there any chance that I can prevent player side hacks/freecams? I could possibly get them to install a client side mod pack if that’s the last resort, just needed ideas. Server: Fabric 1.21 (with mods)

Good AntiCheat for Fabric?
Is there a good anticheat mod for fabric that watches out for things like fly hacks, reach, and stuff? Version 1.21 The only mod I can find on modrinth is Inertia anti cheat, which needs to be installed on the client side, and blacklists mods for the client, not very foolproof.

Looking for a fabric mod that restricts dimensions
As the title said, I would like to restrict access to the nether/end until a certain time after launching a new SMP, so one player doesn't just speedrun to kill the dragon while others didn't even get a chance to log in yet. Now, looking on modrinth myself, couldn't find one that works with fabric 1.21, are there any other mods that may not be on modrinth?
