As I said already with fresh animations and certain versions of Iris, mobs are invisible

Sure that mod has issues with various mods, but hey, that modpack doesn’t include EMF or ETF, so lt time I saw that issue, even with Immediately FST not included, it was a clash with Fresh Animations models and those mod required

Ok - let me try that again - you need Entity Model Features (EMF) and Entity Texture Features (ETF)

That’s pretty much the spec of my previous machine, now use it as a server, but with a 2070 super instead, still under £1500 when bought, new m3 laptop about £2k ?

Check if that modpack contains EMF/ETF and please say if you’re using any beta versions of Iris/sodium etc as they have known issue

They’re not as expensive as macs - also not IMS that would need to rewrite (that would be Iris) - Xonk is the shader creator

oddly enough, I've discovered there was a change between 1.7.1 and 1.7.2 involving strange entity shadows, they look wrong on top of chest, like the kappa reverse shadow but only from a certain angle, then they changed to this screwed up texture in 1.7.2, and even more weird - SEUS GFME v1.16 edit is not affected thru any of these 3 versions

It’s the only mod that changed as I said above, or fabric api, changelog to 1.21 are sketchy, all I can see is that there were fixes to vertex corruption for 1.20.1, .4 & .6 but not seeing them mentioned on the 1.21 version
