Is your host ip 172.22.0.2? Sounds like it is a docker ip and not host ip. Just my 2c.

help immich on windows

Do you have any linux distro running on wsl? like Ubuntu? If yes, you can use that distro to run docker engine by enabling 'docker for windows' to use it in docker's settings. Sorry, im neither computer nor network guy. But i offloaded my ML container to windows and able to access it locally using window's ip and not wsl's ip. Not to mention , i didn't fiddle w any ports/firewalls. Hope it helps

Hi, i have the same setup, well, docker on win 11. You have to enable wsl 2, install linux distro like ubuntu 22 and enable support for that distro in linux. Now, try composing immich stack from your linux distro instead of docker desktop.

Just to make sure: are you putting '/api' after the web url in mobile app? Ex. Web url= http://somedomain.com:2283, mobile app url= http://somedomain.com:2283/api

Can I download the machine learning files and host it on my pc?

I have similar question: can i host ML container on my pc with gpu and other containers (non gpu intensive) on another machine like RPi4? So that i keep RPi4 running all the time, but fire up my pc once a day to finish processing ML jobs.

Immich App: Communication failed

You can use external harddrive.. if you're using docker desktop, please enable wsl 2, install ubuntu 22 as wsl dist. and external hdd get mountedat /mnt/d/ where d is your disk letter

Using Nginx reverse proxy into immich causes this error

To add further, you can have local domain defined in dns locally. I use pihole for my local dns, fwd all local domains to NPM and NPM then assigns port and ip.

I tried this approach before and it takes ages for that 'shortcut' to finish. On IPhone 13 max pro.

On a similar note, if you happen to see 'whatsapp' album, you can exclude it as well by double tapping it. I learnt that somewhere on this discord server itself. Weird iOS.
