GPU/Processor recommendation
(Yes I did read the FAQ. This is something not there) I'm just gonna preface this by saying I have no clue what is good or not. I realize my GPU is probably pretty bad, and I'm not really sure how my processors are, but I want to use DH2 without having things take forever to load unless I'm using size LOD quality, and maybe be able to run some custom world gen like terratonic while I'm at it. Currently I have a
amd ryzen 5 3600 6-core and an RX 5500 XT (also I have 16 gigs of RAM but that doesn't change much, I've already allocated more to MC and that didn't help much). Currently I'm not really thinking about prices so lets assume I'm going for a 1,000 USD budget. Can anybody tell me what is currently is limiting my performance and recommend something more capable?8 replies
