I need a general fashion advice, please help

For getting fashion inspiration, I’ve found Turkish actors surprisingly fashion forward (for a university student, the likes of Tolga Mendi come to mind). It might be worth getting a Pin Interest account and finding aesthetics and styles you like.

For university, you can start off by getting a capsule style wardrobe together. If this is something that resonates with you, you’re best of looking at the fashion guides, such as the famed basic b**tard series.

It might be advantageous to have a look at some Turkish brands and see if they have a personal shopping service. If you simply want to look good for the start of university, asking a personal shopper what looks good on you, can be a quick way to get a good outfit together

I prefer minimalist styles, that work in a corporate environment. I like the clean silhouettes of backpacks like: - Rains Backpack (https://www.uk.rains.com/products/backpack?variant=46694238683474), - Zip around Backpack by Smythson (https://www.smythson.com/uk/black-zip-around-backpack-in-ludlow-1028641.html?cgid=222). - Essential Backpack by Tommy Hilfiger (https://uk.tommy.com/essential-backpack-am0am09503bds) My commute is mostly on foot. I’m walking 50 minutes both ways, over relatively flat terrain, in an urban area. I don’t plan to undertake a variety of different activities with this back.. I mostly want a bag for work. Coming from England, I would prefer a waterproof backpack or at least a high level of water resistance. The contents will mostly be a 15 inch laptop, stationary, a small book, a power bank and some charging cables.

looking for a raincoat/water resistant jacket in the UK for under £150

I would agree with @bluesuedeshoes, the most iconic of the Barbour jackets are the Beaufort and Bedale. The bedale has slightly shorter silhouette, due to its equestrian roots, so if you want something slightly more slimmer and tailored, the Ashby is another good choice.

With Barbour Jackets, it can be useful to try them on in store. If you live in the North of England, there are a couple of Barbour stores. It might be worth popping in and having a look, and seeing which one you prefer.
