I need a general fashion advice, please help

Hi, 18 year old student here. I always like to dress well, but unfortunately i dont know the essentials. I will attend university in autumn and i need some advice on how to dress up good. I like to dress business casual, especially the combinations where I can wear a sweater over a shirt and tie, but I don't know what kind of pants to wear under it. Also, I don't know much about colour palette, I always preferred colors such as navy, blue, black for shirts and green for sweaters. Due to my body (I'm big lol), I also cant find good pants to wear. In general, I need a big fashion advice.

I'd probably start by reading some of the stuff in #fashion-guides

This is a good guide for options starting out, but a lot of stuff is gonna be geared toward North American shoppers

Want to do a quick thread on how to dress if you're a larger guy. There's not a lot of info or inspiration online about this, and I feel this leads people to think that they don't have options or can't dress well bc of their body type.

It might be advantageous to have a look at some Turkish brands and see if they have a personal shopping service. If you simply want to look good for the start of university, asking a personal shopper what looks good on you, can be a quick way to get a good outfit together

For university, you can start off by getting a capsule style wardrobe together. If this is something that resonates with you, you’re best of looking at the fashion guides, such as the famed basic b**tard series.

For getting fashion inspiration, I’ve found Turkish actors surprisingly fashion forward (for a university student, the likes of Tolga Mendi come to mind). It might be worth getting a Pin Interest account and finding aesthetics and styles you like.
