try running nvtop and btop while it's doing that to see if there's an obvious bottleneck somewhere if it's on both.

Looks like that has both a windows and linux version. Worth trying to see if it's on both.

I don't know what tool you're using, but nvtop is great to monitor gpu things without needing to install anything

Same issue for me only with gamescope. Opened a ticket with arrowhead, but got the predicable reply that they don't support linux. Playing with fps limit and adaptive sync in fullscreen is makes it playable imo. Miss the hdr tho 😦

Testing is on .16 and mesa .4 since yesterday. I've not noticed any difference so far, but I've not done any gpu restricted things that have consistent fps. No crashes or freezes so far, but those were pretty rare the last weeks anyway.

OBS missing screen/window capture options
Make a separate thread for the latter problem if you haven't. I've seen a few multi monitor issues get resolved, but it works fine for me.

I can't remember ever enabling this and I'm not sure if this was available ootb for me. Hope someone knows how to enable it. I've switched to using gpu screen recorder myself.

CoolerControl unable to correctly interpret fan statistics or control them
You can set the fan speeds to max in bios until you get lm-sensors sorted

You might have run into the same or similar issue I had where it detects that chipset erroneously. Which motherboard do you have?

How can I permanently unload an erroneously detected module for sensors?
I have no write access there, so I can't remove it manually. Do I just blacklist it in /etc/modprobe.d or is there a better way? It seem so weird to blacklist something instead of just not loading it.

How can I permanently unload an erroneously detected module for sensors?
It looks like it gets initialised with nct6687.conf in /lib/modules-load.d

Boosting to a really high boost clockspeed should not give issues really as long as you stay within the power window. I've not had any issues myself on windows 10 with either stock settings or slight undervolt, but I've only ran cyberpunk for about 45mins to see the fps difference with ray tracing against linux. I'd just run stock with the latest drivers till a crash/drivertimeout and send a crash report and support ticket in your situation. We pay enough to have a fully functioning card on the officially supported platforms.

I never messed with the clockspeed, only volt offset, but overdoing undervolting has reproducable erorrs, the one I had with the freezing was seemingly random, but most often during raytraced games. If you have windows, trying it on there to see if you get issues there too is the best advice as we're pretty much beta testing right now on linux and won't get support from amd
