OBS missing screen/window capture options
Hello, i just tried to record a window with OBS but found there is no option for window or screen capture at all? i have the basic version that came with the install, i have since removed everything and reinstalled it from discover.
I've tried looking online but finding info on this seems very difficult as almost no one has reported a similar issue.

When you add obs-gamecapture to the launch options of the game it will appear
i want to capture windows as well as just games
or just my screen as a whole
I can do that with the screen capture, but I'm trying to remember how I got that to show
I can't remember ever enabling this and I'm not sure if this was available ootb for me. Hope someone knows how to enable it. I've switched to using gpu screen recorder myself.
well thanks for trying, seems that every major issue ive had on linux thus far seems to link back to whatever wayland is and has mostly involved just finding a workaround not doing certain things the way id like or praying it gets fixed one day, for context, i cant use active sync on either monitor because if i do making anything fullscreen causes my right monitor to go black, i sometimes just randomly have my left monitor completely freeze and need to log out/in to fix it, and now this
Make a separate thread for the latter problem if you haven't. I've seen a few multi monitor issues get resolved, but it works fine for me.
