Trying to Dial in the best OBS recording settings..
I'd like to start this out by saying I've watched the channel for around 5 years maybe a bit longer and have tried to solve this issue myself before coming here I even offered to pay for Addies time but he suggested I posted here so hopefully you guys can help! I currently record a game that is rather difficult to record, it has a lot of sharpness to the image as well as many moving objects and dark dark shadows. The game is called Escape from Tarkov if you're at all interested. Currently I record in native 1440p with Nvenc h264, CBR 100,000, P7 and NV12. I tried to utilize the AV1 encoding after watching the video showcasing the insane framerates and upscaling but with no avail. My hardware is a 7950x3d and 4090. What suggestions would you guys make for me to get higher quality video?

I've been able to consolidate the problem to either the motherboard or potentially a grounding issue? The noise is present as long as anything is in the mic or line in jack even an unconnected ground loop isolator will turn the microphone driver on and the hissing is visible in obs.
