one thing to note about embroidered camp collars, I got one from Portuguese Flannel, and the thing is dry clean only. Kinda makes sense considering, but I prolly wouldn't have gotten it had I known that. So I guess the point is to check the care label.

not really, i lurked a lot on reddit before mfa went dark, and either have bookmarks of stuff I like or remember enough to search google, like "malefashionadvice casual blazer inspo". There's tons of great threads on "favorite X for $" that have great info on trustworthy brands

Lightweight casual blazer recommendation
I have that #2 ripstop EG bedford, and I wear it with a tee all the time somewhat frequently. It really makes me want a few more. edit: don't think that's ripstop, but seems pretty close, maybe moleskin. But it's the same idea.

I have the spier & mackay melton peacoat in black, super happy with it. 90% wool, 10% cashmere, bemberg lining. Looks like they're running ~$400 right now which seems medium/low for a peacoat. I did pick up some of their wool scarves that I'm not as happy with. Kinda wish I got the bond peacoat though

they're a bit more $ than most places, but they do custom sizes, so if you know your measurements you'll get a great fit. If that's not as important you might try J Crew mabye?
