I like brown shoes and belts. Apart from that, it's not blue so I'm not that comfortable with it. I'm trying to be more open to it. I think I prefer browns with some red in them.
I like brown. I find darker brown trousers incredibly difficult to wear in a casual outfit though :xd:
I think a good challenge for me is to incorporate it, without having it dominate the outfit.

Here is a fit of mine from a few years ago which I consider a brick for several reasons, but in terms of the brown, in this setting there is not any clarity, both brown pieces have this complicated broken texture but when combined it just looks like a bunch of nothing in a bad way. Reminds me of leaves and sticks decomposing in the mud. The same could be said of any color, probably, but I feel its exaggerated with browns

Compare to this one from Charlie, which I like quite a bit... I feel that the gradient of shades really makes it work (in addition to the general silhouette)
at least on my screen that sweater looks brown though I guess it could be green
Both fits are p wonderful, it's just that the styling and photography are quite different

I think I love brown so much because I associate with wood (hardwood floors, firewood, etc.), coffee/espresso, chocolate, fallen leaves, noodles like jajangmyeon, stout beers, etc. and it brings a lot of comfort, and i try to evoke that in some of my fits

Brown is great. I think the warm neutrals color palette of beiges, browns, oranges, and yellows is really pleasant, I tend to wear those a lot

brown is a cornerstone color for me. like black. i have my dickies duck canvas jacket, i have some brown oxfords... i'd like a brown leather jacket (kinda like leon kennedy's?) and some slacks, cause most of my pants are black or denim anyways.
but it's a nice color to use to make everything else pop

Brown feels like a strong base for me since I don't go for black all that often
