Yes, I spoke to support, but it's impossible to get a clear answer. They can't seem to understand that I don't want to unban my account, but simply get information on how I can 'modify my PC' to avoid this happening!

Yes, but the hardware ban is over! Before, I couldn't even connect, and now there's no problem, just that I'm detected as a cheater.
