Chunks are loading chaotically
I've experienced this issue myself, but I'm pretty sure there's no way to make them generate in a neater fashion. For whatever reason, sometimes upon loading a world it randomly picks some chunks to load before others. However, I find after letting it load for a little, it appears to generate chunks in a more reasonable fashion.
My advice is to give it some time to generate chunks first. If you want it to happen faster, you can increase your CPU load preset.

Incompatibility with The Man From The Fog mod
See if DH works without any unnecessary mods installed first.
Also, can you provide a screenshot of your mods folder?

I'd also recommend checking out Fabulously Optimized or Simply Optimized. Both are impressive performance modpacks on Modrinth, but the former has QoL changes like removing saving/reloading screens and OptiFine parity while the latter is slightly more performant (also probably the most performant modpack out there).
Check 'em both out. They include the mods you already have and a dozen or two more. Plus, I can't think of a mod they don't work with.

I'm also definitely on a more underpowered computer.

If you find updating mods a tedious pain, may I suggest using a third party launcher such as Prism Launcher?

I just noticed as well, your MC version numbers are awfully scattered (1.20.4-1.20.6). Are you using older versions of some mods?

Does the flickering exist when you're lower in elevation? Or can you disable that elevation-sky feature in a config?
