Sky flickering colors in LOD chunks

Howdy gamers, running Fabric 1.20.6 with sodium/lithium/indium, tectonic, and terralith, getting some sky flickering in LODs. Goes away if I turn off Rendering in DH settings.
Solution:
hi guys, DH released a version of the 1.20.6 mod on June 25th and that seems to have fixed my issue. Thank you for your help!

I haven't used Tectonic or Terralith, but I believe those are only world-gen mods, and as such shouldn't cause that flickering. I do, however, use the rest of those mods regularly and have never seen your issue. Might I suggest updating your drivers from the official NVIDIA/Intel websites? I notice your sky looks awfully white. Could the fog be causing that? Does disabling DH fog stop the flickering?

Drivers are up to date, fog settings got messed with a lot to no avail :sadge:

Did you try completely disabling DH fog?

Yeah I tried Vanilla fog only, fog off, fog at various distances. Even looking straight up, the sky flickers.

Did you check the logs for any error messages?

I'll check next time I spin up MC

I'm concerned about what is causing the sky to be nearly completely white. You weren't using any shaderpacks/resourcepacks, right?

No, that's just from the elevation/biome I'm at If I go down a few blocks it's blue again, something to do with the tundra/mountain something or other I think

I would imagine it's that feature that's causing it. Does the flickering exist when you're lower in elevation? Or can you disable that elevation-sky feature in a config?

Yes, happens at every elevation, and I haven't seen the sky-color thing in any mod settings

I just noticed as well, your MC version numbers are awfully scattered (1.20.4-1.20.6). Are you using older versions of some mods?

Grabbed the latest version that was available from each official modpage, up to 1.20.6

If you find updating mods a tedious pain, may I suggest using a third party launcher such as Prism Launcher?

I got these all within the last few days, using the native MC launcher with the fabric piece I'm pretty mod-illiterate but not ready to do a clean install after all the finagling just to get these running

Have you used 3rd party launchers before?

Not for MC specifically

I only ask because I recommend you to. It makes updating/changing/downloading/removing etc mods SOOO much easier

With Prism Launcher in particular, you can update all of your mods in just a few clicks, although it's not the only 3rd party launcher with this (and more) features.

I'll make sure everything's up to date and go from there, really can't seem to find anything on this issue online, just literal block flickering, never the sky

I'll try using just your mods and see if I have the same issue. *the updated versions for 1.20.6 I didn't have any issues. I tried for about 5 minutes or so. I'm also definitely on a more underpowered computer.

I'd also recommend checking out Fabulously Optimized or Simply Optimized. Both are impressive performance modpacks on Modrinth, but the former has QoL changes like removing saving/reloading screens and OptiFine parity while the latter is slightly more performant (also probably the most performant modpack out there). Check 'em both out. They include the mods you already have and a dozen or two more. Plus, I can't think of a mod they don't work with.

I'm trying to keep everything super lean, bare minimum type of thing, but I aprpeciate the recommendations. My system is a 3070ti/i7-8700, and minecraft was unplayable before hte Sodium stuff. Trying to keep it relaxed

That's perfect. Lmk if you get your mods to work by updating them

Try changing transparency settings in DH settings

No dice on any setting, unfortunately Thank you for trying - I'll reinstall with some updated versions and see what I can do, and maybe try that modloader too. I've used CurseForge for other games back in the day

I personally use Modrinth, it has nicer GUI
