well theres pretty much no settings on the starlink router apart from custom DNS so I don't think I can do anything about that blocking it

I heard that but then what is the IPv6 forwarding section on my modem for? And do you know what settings I should check - I made sure every java program was allowed through windows firewall and tested turning it off (which didnt work) so I assume if anything its the router but I have no clue how to make that work

no clue if this website works since it seems to say the same thing for every ipv6 i enter but i tried entering mine for 25565 TCP and it said filtered - this port is blocked by firewall or other network obstacle

Friend Can't Join - Java Server
Edit: I did find this mod called random patches which is supposed to help with these issues by raising vanilla timeout timers etc, would I just need to add this mod to the server file or would I have to add it to my game file + my friends game file for it to work??
