Suit has been entrusted to Andreas Gorges tailoring in SF, they're letting the jacket waist out 1" and shortening the sleeves

I missed the center seam in that pic, it has like 1.5" excess material. will take it to a tailor and see what they say

I've had some success so far removing excess dried oil with a razor blade after a wash. hoping vinegar or baking soda might help with the smell

no, will try that, just was scrubbing with a cloth and could tell from lack of discoloration on the cloth that nothing was coming off. the stains are basically a layer of hardened oil
