Invoicing?
My impression is that Stripe doesn't do that particularly adequately, as pretty much always the platform integrating with Stripe would provide the invoicing facilities...

🙏 Yes at the very least customers need to be able to retrieve their own invoices, and invoices should be automatically emailed on payment. There is a tax office requirement of doing so

I'm not sure if it's an automated behaviour for all customers or whether you have to manually issue invoices per customer which isn't ideal. Whenever I've used Stripe in the past, Woocommerce handled the invoicing and you can configure the behaviour look and contents of invoices far beyond what Stripe can do

Yes, I see. My point was that out of the box for the OpenSaaS template, subscriptions management isn't adequate without a lot of work by the developer user. It feels somehow that SaaS start-ups are stalled a lot by having to reinvent the wheel. All of these e-commerce specs are almost universal for every SaaS startup. A lot of value could be added by providing a comprehensive out of the box solution

I will say that the one downside of WooCommerce is its insane bloat, because it is built on the foundations of a blogging CMS, it is not at all optimized and streamlined for commerce - but it has all the features.

I suppose we can call it resolved now. Hopefully that was just a terminal lag and nothing more.

OK, there was an unexplained delay. I'm not sure if it might be a terminal issue but nothing new appeared for ages then I tabbed back to it and eventually it did regenerate new links.

I was able to find the link but it appears to not regenerate a fresh link and the old one is probably stale.
