Invoicing?
Is the customer sent an invoice on successful completion of payment? I would think it's a mandatory feature of any SaaS template as it's not something that can be avoided?

We didn't go that far witht hose features -> invoicing is a bit tricky, depends quite a bit on what kind of invoice are you prdoucing. Woudl be interesting to explore, but we deffered it for now. I think this falls under the other question you opened about Wasp vs WooCommerce, we can continue discussion there!
That’s handled by stripe I believe
I'm not sure if it's an automated behaviour for all customers or whether you have to manually issue invoices per customer which isn't ideal. Whenever I've used Stripe in the past, Woocommerce handled the invoicing and you can configure the behaviour look and contents of invoices far beyond what Stripe can do
I am actually not sure either. But I assume users can get their invoices by logging in through the customer portal

🙏 Yes at the very least customers need to be able to retrieve their own invoices, and invoices should be automatically emailed on payment. There is a tax office requirement of doing so

Ha yeah you are right, now that you say it I would also expect Stripe to handle that hm! I am no accounting expert though 😄
My impression is that Stripe doesn't do that particularly adequately, as pretty much always the platform integrating with Stripe would provide the invoicing facilities...
