what i love about all of this is not anything to do with the math bullshit or liminal space or whatever nonsense which is clearly just some hot takes as it's like her 8th video on menswear and she's out of ideas
what i love about it is we are seeing in real time someone who is in the zeitgeist and connected with other "influencers" kicking off a real reaction against the baggy jeans and crop tops of the moment. we are seeing the zeitgeist being shifted in realtime. this is a proto version of the normcore article of 2011

What I appreciate about this article is the recognition that there is a lot of complexity in garment manufacturing and that many components of the process are unlikely to be automated completely anytime soon.
The discussion of quality is an uninteresting one outside of the recognition of "it's all based on the choices of the person overseeing production". This is reductive, but a good callout that the labor is skilled enough to make Great Things even if they generally make Bad Things
