How can I tell if a keycap set will fit the typeractive Corne board?
DDC is the LowProKB profile I have. They are quite nice. Been meaning to try their LDSA, too, with a spherical scoop rather than cylindrical.

But as the bot says, MX caps simply will not fit. Not only are they likely to be on the 19.05mm square plan, their stems are totally different π

I have LowProKB cylindrical caps on my Typeractive Choc Corne and they work fine.

MBK keycaps are roughly 17.5mm by 16.5mm and ChosFox keycaps are 16.5mm square.

All Choc-compatible keycaps should fit. The keys are on an 18mm stride horizontally and a 17mm stride vertically

The hot swap socket fell off when i put switches on it
Looks like all the pads are intact, so you should be good. Apply some flux to the pads first. I'm not too familiar with heat gun soldering, but if you have the right paste it should work

Can you post a photo of the PCB where they fell off? If the pads have not been lifted away, you can just resolder. If they have, you might need to get creative with bodge wires.

Can I use any different pair of pcbs?
It might be an electrically damaged pin (burnt out) if the controller was exposed to electrostatic discharge

Whole row probably means an unconnected pin. If you are using no-solder headers, try re-seating them; otherwise check the soldering

I want to know how i need to order my Corne for me to not solder anything
Just be sure to choose the MX version if your switches are MX, or the Choc version if they are Choc v1 low profile switches
