Ethan has a great article about liking the same things but executing better. I still like big boots, black pants, cool belts, among other things. But my style is completely different. Never would have seen myself wearing cargos for example.

Worth it? Or alternatives to Spier and Mackay Knitwear
Price to quality ratio is super subjective. Spier is solid for the price imo. They run 20% off sales often so I'd wait for one of those. I like 1 the best, 2 is ok, not a fan of 3.

Sounds cool! Have you dyed pants before? It might not give you the results you want, and I think the pattern is fine as is. Considering you might ruin them I'd stick with the alterations
