Bazzite 41 broke the hdmi audio in game mode
It just takes a little thing, like enabling HDR in game mode, to get audio back.
Looks like audio isn’t load correctly before it is set?

Seems like it happens at lot finally.
I quit a game, it suddenly reboot then no sound so I have to reboot my self.

If I’m able to reproduce, I’ll uncheck this to let know the issue. But for the moment I’m not sure if i just fall in a weird exception only one time.

Bazzite 41 broke the hdmi audio in game mode
I got a tv with an external sound bar.
My mini pc was connected to my tv, but I think I open it even before I turn on my tv and the sounds bar.
My guess would be, in game mode it check if hdmi audio is available on the “initiation” then it didn’t check anymore.
So going in desktop mode seems to trigger a second check. So it was working coming back in game mode.
I try to reboot to see if I see the bug after the reboot, but nothing.

Oh well, going in desktop mode seems to fix the thing. I don’t see the problème anymore since. 🤷🏼

I tried that command before that i found in the bazzite documentation on the web site:
rpm-ostree rebase ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite:testing
But it didn't works too.
