I can’t login anymore
It was working well last night.
Today I open my pc, try to login and it just didn’t work anymore.
I use the latest stable gnome desktop version.
6.12.11-205.bazzite.fc41.x86_64
What can I do, I don’t want to wipe my pc.

I try ctrl + alt + F2 to login with the terminal instead and sadly it doesn’t work.
- I follow up that guide to boot in emergency mode: https://docs.bazzite.gg/Advanced/rescue-and-emergency-mode/
- Then i create a new user "bazzite" with a new password
- Then i reboot
- Then i did the ctrl + alt + F3, cause i wasn't able to login with that new user
- Then I login in that new user with the terminal
- I create a new user from there and that was a real user that I was able to login from the login screen
- After that i go the the setting screen where users al isted and try to change the password of the main user and I activate the auto login.
- It kinda works, but now it freeze when I start the PC...
Looks like my main user name or password got bugged
Oh well, I gave up and I will reinstall the OS.
Sounds like a bad update. As soon as you log in the desktop is crashing and taking you back to the login screen. try mash shift or up or down arrow keys while you boot and select your previous image and see if you have the same issue in your previous image.
Yeah, I did this but I had the same issue
Oh ok and the re-install fixed it?
Yep, i just wipe everything and reinstall it from scratch. (Rebase didnt works)
Works fine now.
I don't know what i've done to get my session password to bugged. 🤷🏻🐛
