Animatica not compatible with DH
I have been debugging and attempting to figure out why my modpack is crashing with error -1073740791. I loaded mods on one by one to test, and replicated this exact crash when I added Animatica into my modpack.
Here is the modlist I am using:
Minecraft 1.20.1
I start by loading Pietro's Base Optimizations v1.0.3 modpack, removing Bobby & Starlight, and updating Fabric API from 0.92.1 to 0.92.2.
https://modrinth.com/modpack/base-optimizations
I'm using Complementary Unbound r5.2.1, as well as New Default+v1.75
Animatica 0.6+1.20
Cloth Config API - 11.1.118
Distant Horizons - 2.1.0-a
Dynamic FPS - 3.4.3
EntityCulling-Fabric - 1.6.2-mc1.20.1
Fabric API - 0.92.2+1.20.1
FerriteCore - 6.0.1
Indium - 1.0.30+mc1.20.4
Iris - 1.7.0+mc1.20.1
Lithium - 0.11.2
Mod Menu - 7.2.2
More Culling - 1.20.4-0.24.0
More Culling Extra - 1.1-1.20.1
Noisium - 2.0.2+mc1.20-1.20.1
Reese's Sodium Options - 1.7.2+mc1.20.1-build.101
Sodium - 0.5.8+mc1.20.1
Sodium Extra - 0.5.4+mc1.20.1-build.115
Using DH with 128 render distance, Distant Gen enabled, High settings, Balanced CPU. Game runs stable 60FPS, then suddenly freezes and crashes with zero error logs.

Exit code -1073740791, unable to isolate mod causing issue
I have been having an issue where, at random, my game will suddenly freeze and close with exit code -1073740791, showing as Event ID 153 in Event Viewer. It does not generate a crash dump or a log of any kind, and while I don't understand Java very well, I don't see any individual identifying error in the standard game logs.
This is the only game I have any sort of exit errors on. (That and Fortnite when I run it in DX12, but that's actually super common from what I've seen.)
I will be slowly rebuilding the modpack from scratch, again, and testing to see if I can pinpoint exactly when my setup crashes, but so far it has been a struggle. I have a ~150 mod list I want to use and having to test for 20-30 minutes before a crash each time is simply not an option.
I start my modpack using Piotr's Base Optimizations 1.0.3. From there, I load DH along with some Optifine compatibility mods to make my desired resource pack run. It seems to run great, so I'll start to add mods on, and then eventually it starts getting this issue. I will then remove the mods I just added, run it again, start a new world, and then it will happen again. It almost seems like something sets it off, and once it does, nothing works right.

Complementary Unbound r5.2.1
I'm at my wits end with this one. I don't understand why it keeps happening. I'm creating this thread to put it out there as I continue testing in case someone has an idea or has encountered this before.9 replies

Consistent Stuttering - Unable to resolve
Hey guys,
I'm setting up a DH modpack for the first time to see if I can get it working and restore my childhood love of Minecraft. I'm tweaking with settings and trying to make it run well, but despite my best efforts, the game consistently stutters and freezes.
