Just do some research you will figure things out. Your first photo would look good with a nice pair of Orslow fatigues or something similar.

I’m turning 40 in a few months and I’m learning and trying to figure out things myself.
If I were you I would probably take a look at certain brands that make well made clothes with interesting designs. Japanese workwear, Scottish/Irish knitwear, Drake’s. Visit a few good specialised local stores and try things on.

I like the silhouette of the wide fit jeans from the U collection but size 33 is the largest size they have and for me who is pretty average in height (for a Scandinavian male) at 6” I would appreciate a slightly longer leg. Especially since cotton shrinks a little over time. Lots of people are taller than me so I find this strange. I like everything else about these jeans so I would wish this to change.
