Update: That's not really an option since it crashes after you travel a bit

So far that seems to have fixed it, I'll just have to increase the CPU load when needed

I just went into the threading options and put the runtime % for world gen and LOD builder threads all the way down.

Yeah that reduces how many blocks it generates but still happens.

Can I activate shaders while Distant Horizons is rendering chunks?
It should be fine, if you ever get chunks refusing to load you can, for example, change the DH distance from 128 to 127 and back to 128 to fix it.
