Temperature Preset dialog error
Ok thank you. I got a workaround, just typed in something random at first in the name field when creating a new preset, then add the desired name and delete the random stuff, this way the old profiles (that start with the same letters as the new one) don't get overwritten.

WiFi disconnects after a few hours
I also checked the settings of my access point/router, but couldn't find anything strange in there. Other devices don't have that problem. I now use a separate wifi client that is then connected to the Pi via ethernet, so I can restart the client without shutting down the Pi when the connection fails again, seems to work good so far, so disconnections.

So the Pi ran without problems over night after reinstalling sonar, now the WiFi died again while I was working on some config files (nothing WiFi related and didn't restart the Firmware yet, just some custom macro stuff). I basically edited one file, saved it without restarting, checked something else in the dashboard, then switched to my browser to look up a command and 10 sec later when I wanted to open up the config file again the connection was gone.

WiFi disconnects after a few hours
I got some system packages updated yesterday via the RatOS update manager and after that, the WiFi disconnection problem started over again. I now uninstalled and reinstalled sonar in hope that it solves the problem again. Anything to consider regarding sonar when installing system updates?

I installed sonar yesterday and left the Pi running over night, so far it seems to solve the problem. Thank you very much! 👍

😄 me neither. I also don't know what log files to look at, I guess as it seems to be a pi related problem, there can't be anything in the mainsail/klipper log files that are accessible via RatOS

My WiFi connection just died again, and I tried the ethernet port, it still works, so seems to be the same problem as on your machine

I also have no idea where to look at. Was so happy when it disappeared for 1-2 days when I switched WiFi from 5 to 2.4 GHz but then it came back 😄

Same problem here 🙋♂️ Haven't tried the ethernet cable yet because I don't have a socket nearby. I changed from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz WiFi and that seemed to help for a day or two, but then the problem occured again. Maybe a little bit less frequent though.

Nozzle gets closer to the bed every time during first layer (worse at higher temps).
I had a similar issue on my 3.1 500 some time ago, until I started heat soaking for at least 45 - 60 min for PLA (70° C bed temp) and > 60 min (better 90 min) for PETG (85° C bed temp). On some occasions the problem still occurs (but not as bad as before), but I figured out that this might have to do with tiny fragments of filament under the PEI sheet or maybe air bubbles when I put it on the wrong way (start at the back and then "roll" it on towards the front to get all the air out). Although I can't see why the bits of filament or other debris don't get compensated by the mesh, as the beacon should measure the height of the PEI surface (I was thinking maybe the measurement is also influenced by the distance - ideally zero - between PEI sheet and the magnetic pad). Maybe this helps

Change Wifi SSID without configurator
Thank you, I was a bit blind I guess, I thought I had to go to several other steps of the configurator and didn't want to mess up the rest of my config 😄 It worked as described, just went back to the first step (was on step 2 by default because the wifi was already connected of course), selected the new network and saved, reboot and there it is!

Exactly. I also have the same LDO motors, only a different board (Octopus 1.1 F446). Didn't find anything online regarding that issue except for the stealthchop option. When I activate stealthchop, the noise is gone, obviously, but I haven't had it activated before in 2.0.x and don't want to sacrifice precision and torque for silence 😄

Unfortunately not, I double checked the config on all stepper related stuff but found no difference to the settings I had before. Also asked this question in a Facebook group and there was someone having the same issue too.
