Do I need smaller clothes? 6'4" 174 pounds
that's what makes different types of t-shirts? the cut of the fabric and how the t-shirt is sewn? i think fit 3 is an oversized standard t. fits 1, 2 and 4 look like drop shoulder

these t-shirts all have a different construction, so yeah, you'd expect something different if there's no vertical seam connecting the body and the sleave

@kyn neither of those are basic t-shirts. they are drop shoulder or baby t. a 3/4 t isn't going to sit mid-bicep either

@carrion what does fit even mean then? sometimes standards are helpful for people just starting out or asking 'does this fit?'

A basic t-shirt that fits well will have the shoulder seam at your shoulder bone, the sleeves are mid-bicep, and the length is half-way between your waist and your crotch.

i just don't know what dressing my age means. ive never known. i wasn't really into sports growing up (or the wrong sports) and I just didn't want to do the basketball shorts/team shirt uniform. now i'm in my 30s and a father and I grew my hair long and grew a mustache.

Closet Purge - Topic of the day 6/10/24
I purge when my clothes don’t fit in my dresser or when I move apartments. Never regretted giving anything away. I retire old clothes when I no longer wear them on at least a semi-regular basis or they no longer fit.
