Quick question
I want to make a Vanilla Custom Survival server and I want to know how many users could handle this server with +30 plugins (an estimation just to make like an idea on how much could carry)

what host?
enviromc
dedicated
yeah itll run what you want
knowing exactly how many users, is unknown as too many variables
maybe 60+
or lower or higher
who knows
we are just checking which one it's the best option
enivro Has had some hiccups about nodes being full so beware on that
which recommendation you can give me?
what do u think?
not bad, but its not dedicated threads
yep
ik
if you care for that
if not then its good
what could be the issue?
other users who are slamming the usage will fuck you over too
mmm
enviro has dedicated at least
and puffer it's quite too expensive compared to these ones
bloom already checked and enviro has better prices and better options
noisy neighbors Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
birdflop is dedicated?
seems the one having the best prices
You could also try lilypad
I think* they offer dedicated threads
Wait do they?
berrybyte seems the better imo
nope
Shouldnβt be that big of a deal tbh
birdflop
I think it's the best one in terms of price / hardware
If you do seriously care then pufferfish is about the best of the best
ye but the prices...
what do u think about this
how many players u estimate can play at the same time
pufferfish offers the very premium experience, so yes the price will be high Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
Enough for 30 tbh if you know how to optimize a bit
30 it's not too much imo
Iβd be surprised if you can get 30+ players online at the same time
we have more than 60 ppl hyped about it
Running servers with 30+ players online would probably get you to the top 10% biggest servers here in ac
what abput this
What host
berry
The cpu may or may not struggle
and birdflop? seems to have the best prices
!pleb tbh
What's your PLEB?
Plan/Players
Location
Edition
Budget
.
What IS your budget
45/month
Unit?
wdym by unit
US dollars of Japanese yen
eur

If you ask me Iβd go with lilypad
@Josh maybe you are able to provide him a trial server or something?
You can also consider servcity if you donβt feel like paying that much
Should be able to handle around 30 players with some optimizations
this one?
Ye lgtm
dedicated cores?
I think itβs shared, but anyone who could afford lilypad shouldnβt be abusing it
Iβm not entirely sure tho
mmm idk
pebble seems to be a nice option tho at the end
16 ram 5 threads
You should primarily look at cpu, not ram size
For what you plan to do 12g+ is enough
16gb
I'm looking for
What cpu
lillypad 7950X
I know, what about pebble
Iirc lilypad has a few 9950x locations, might still have free spots if you ask josh
let's see if he answers and depending on his response I'll see
Good luck with your server
hey!
what location are you wanting?
our 16GB plan is chosen by a lot of large survival servers, runs them great and is more than enough resources for pretty much any number of plugins or players you throw at it
EU
cool, you'd be on a 9950X then :D
perfect! how we can do it?
also, same price?
just purchase at https://lilypad.gg
Lilypad | Best 24/7 Minecraft & Game Server Hosting
Lilypad is a better way to play together: affordable game server hosting with unrivalled performance. Create a lag-free server for as little as $11/month.
our whole london location runs on 9950Xs now, at the same price yep
we just don't advertise it on our website yet because we can't guarantee you'll be on one in some other locations
I will get it once we have the server ready to deploy on production ^^
the thing isnt the amount of plugins tho it's how much work each one does
a plugin could just print "hi" along the server thread every 20 ticks
it could also be something like coreprotect with many many more listeners than that
?? what are you talking about
No
when he was worrying about the server load but measuring it by plugin count π
it could very much vary per plugin no ?
Worse hardware soon, less staff and more downtime but cheaper yeah
it would but im pretty sure they told him about it
more downtime*
neato
I mean lilypad will be the choice 100%
enviro blows up like thrice a week
I'm just now running a low end to develop it and then move to lily
in bloom
:thumbsupcat:
Oop yes
8gb ram option to develop it
should be more than enough
in bloom
yep more then enough
yeah
regardin the version
I think I'd go for the 1.21.3 tbh
pawesome
