What’s good in the world of cardigans?
Hey y’all it’s me again.
Recently I’ve been looking all over for a good, classically styled, not too thick v-neck cardigan.
I’m kind of into the whole fuzzy mohair type thing everyone is doing right now, but it’s honestly not a major selling point for me. A good Shetland or lambswool is just as nice.
I guess I’m looking for something akin to this one by Real McCoys, but I’m not looking to pay Real McCoys prices (and also their sizing doesn’t work for me). I’d like to stay in the ballpark of roughly 200€ for this one. I’d prefer availability in the EU or at least a DDP service.
Thanks guys!

Way out of your budget but I really like the Lemaire Cardi Coat. Maybe something to inspire you.

But their colors are limited
I will say that industry of all nations alpaca is the absolute itchiest thing I've ever bought. And I have no problem with alpaca from any other brand lol. Maybe a personal allergy to how they treat the fabric or something.
For that budget you can grab something good (even mohair) on eBay I bet. Ik you’re EU but id be surprised if it was that different
Yeah I’m browsing the usual 2nd hand sites rn. Just thought if someone were to have a good rec for a new one I might want to hear it.
This is pretty cool, but just a touch out of budget. I’ll keep it in mind though
it is above budget unless you go secondhand but rubato's shetland cardigan was one of the most pleasant feeling things i've tried on (they also have lambswool) https://www.atemporubato.com/products/brushed-shetland-cardigan-in-oyster https://www.atemporubato.com/products/standard-cardigan-in-tobacco

Must not have dehaired properly. Had one alpaca knit like it
Yea maybe I just got unlucky with that one piece, it was a beanie.
If you skip the mohair, needles do some great 60s/70s stuff that might be up your street.
Good tip, I’ll keep a look out!
Can search vinted for Roberto Collina
Some good stuff there, thanks!
If you like shetland, check Jamieson's. Very good quality/price ratio, available in EU (a few retailers)
