Heater fault
I just installed my second toolboard for the IDEX but whenever my heater gets to 245c I get a heater fault. It'll hold at 240 with no issues. I managed to pid tune it to 250 but then it'll go right back to faulting at 245. It's the Phaetus Rapido 2 with a pt1000. I'm not sure where to start. The wireing seems fine and like I said it works fine up to 240 and it will pid tune to 250

What is the exact error message? Did google turn anything up?
MCU 'toolboard_t1' shutdown: ADC out of range
Sensor 'extruder1' temperature 65707422.564 not in range 0.000:350.000
This generally occurs when a heater temperature exceeds
its configured min_temp or max_temp.
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the
"FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the
config, and restart the host software.
Printer is shutdown
It's weird because it doesn't have the standard srcrew thermistor. It has what looks like 2 copper wires going into the heat clip
That temp doesn't make any sense right? But it works at a lower temp. This points to a wire losing connection at the higher temp.
It's really strange. I can fidget with the wires at 240 and its fine. I'm thinking defective thermistor. Mine isn't the screw type so I'm not sure where to get one. RR customer service is awful and I don't to wait another 2-3 weeks for them to replace it
Maybe reach out to Phaetus
