VC4 500. is my frame crooked or is it the build plate?
Not really an expert on this, if anybody could answer it would help a lot!

post the whole picture not just a visual representation of the mesh
did you run z-tilt before mesh?
Yes
using PEI-plate from ratrig or 3rd-party?
I have the default kit of the v-core 4
I haven’t yet mounted the plate
It’s just bare alluminium
ok. run z-tilt again and mesh.. I'm no expert in this but I think it looks a bit weird.. like z-tilt was not performed
ah ok
I did it already… in fact the three points the beacon detects are at the same height
Two on the left of the picture and one on the right
ah ok, maybe I misinterpret the visual representation
yeah, but doesn't look like they are at the same height
Is there anyone who can help?
as riksarchen said it really looks like z-tilt is not level. Is this the upgraded machined bed plate or the stock bed? Do you have a quality straight edge you can lay on the bed to see if you see this hump? Otherwise since its along the y movement, I would check your rails to make sure they are fully seated and tight. Did you start tightening them from one side to the other?
I dont see how this is your frame as that would typically have a single twist or a corner lower. With two humps like this it sounds like the bed or your y rails are not sitting flat
I put my cents on Y rails not tighten to spec and most likely not tightened from one side to the other?
I agree. That or a really off bed plate but its still within spec of <0.5mm. If its not the milled bed plate I would suspect this is fine
So, I have ordered the kit at the start, there wasn’t much to choose, it looks like the machined bed, it has clear marks of cnc milling on both sides
About the rails I have tried tightening in every way and the result is the same in every bed mesh
I don’t have on me a straight edge that long unfortunately, but it really seems it is the bed itself having this deformation
I suspect you are going to need a straight edge to try and figure this out unfortunately. Is that something you can get or borrow? Where are you located? Maybe you are near another member and can check it for you.
I’m in Italy, near Milan, but I think I will just keep it like this, sub 0.5 is still reasonable, I’m just a bit unhappy about it, that’s it.
No point in discovering just that the bed is crooked
but if the bed is crooked you might be able to have it replaced. That gets a lot harder when the magnet and heater are installed
thats why those steps are near the very end of the commissioning.
Maybe you have one axis not straight or something not aligned
re check the frame
