Step/Dir Drivers
Hi!
One of my TMC5160HV modules came broken out of the box, is there any way to make RatOS run using drivers that just take step/dir, in the meantime?
I cannot find a way to ask for this in the configurator.

You could edit the config files directly, it is klipper after all. But then you probably would break RatOS for future configs.

Since the configurator only seems to allow TMC drivers, there isn't a generic step/dir option, and the TMCs are defined in the Ratos.cfg file, which gets overwritten, I'm not sure how to solve it.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
Overriding would be good, but I'm not sure overriding with nothing is possible

That's fair, is there any way of "overriding" the Tmc section to remove it?
No, klipper doesn't allow you to do that once something is defined
