parts cooling fan is going on and off during print.

The 4028 fan is having a weird behavior.
During long prints it goes on and off randomly.
When I check the UI, it stays at 100%.

I had the same thing happening because of a broken wire. redid all three and it worked fine afterwards.

According to the slicer, what should the fan speed be?
Might also be wordt checking if the fan cabling is ok if you made any changes to it or the connectors.

I did no change it was working for months.
Also, I stopped the print as it failed. And now it has the same behavior. If I put it on it goes on and off randomly

Ok I'll open the wire cover and check all the cables inside
yes, that was it, broken wire inside the sheath.
