you jsut need to realign your y rails

Yes, unfortunately I let myself be tempted to change the rail and it was already perfect before. That's why the Y rails should fit. So should I adjust them again?

if you work on the gantry you need to realign the y rails if the new gantry is jsut 0.5mm longer or shorter the y rail carriages will grind

Yes, you could be right. I used extra end brackets with more play, but it could be that the position is not right. But it does sound scratchy when only one side is fixed and the other is completely loose. In the extrusion, the rail can only move slightly sideways. But I can try it, but I think that the pipe is also clamped too tightly.

make sure the gantry is aligned and the y rails, thats all you have to do

you use the jig oonly one one rail, the other rail will set its position automatically

Ah okay and then I have to move the x axis as near as possible to the screw that I tighten And what about the x carriage do I have to tighten them bevor ?
