everyone has different feet
Probably not a question this discord is the best equipped to answer - running communities will have way more detailed knowledge
It'll also depend on what your use case is. I think that the Nike vapour fly is supposed to be one of the fastest shoes if ur purely looking for a race. But the mechanism that makes it faster means it won't be the best for training nor is it particularly durable
recommend going to a running shoe store, they usually will let you try out multiple to see which feel best
Okay what if i ask which ones you think are most fashionable
would rec discarding aesthetic in something for training. having cool shoes while you run is no good if you fuck up your knees from shoes that aren't good for ya
^ plus I probably wouldn't wear even the most fashionable running shoes for anything besides running.
a comfy pair of shoes id probably wear for most casual situations, running or not
exceptions being date, nice restaurant, work ,etc.
depends on what you wear casually - if it's a lot of athleisure and hoodies I think something like ultraboosts. If it's more generically casual jeans and t-shirts maybe a low top like sambas, onitsuka tigers, killshots or similar. Somewhere in between you might be able to pull off some new balance models. In all cases I would get separate shoes for running, although you could use the ultraboosts for running in a pinch.
I have a wicked soft spot for the sacai waffle
Nike frees, Pegasus, waffle
Not great for any hardcore running, but they're nice and you can use them for some jogging in a pinch
A lot of the chunky trail running shoes also look pretty good to me
Performance road running shoes by and large look pretty bad imo
I prefer brooks for almost all of my shoes. Nike are fine, as are Hoka, but I always have a pair of ghosts for mileage
Go to a running store and try on a bunch
I like Saucony Adidas and New balance right now
Saucony is endorphin line is really good, I think a good all rounder shoe would be something like a New balance rebel or maybe Hoka Mach 5
There's a lot of "tiers" running shoes you can get into, but if you are just starting out I'd stick something from above that I mentioned (granted if it fits your foot well)

I run in some of these. I walk in some of these. Some of these I walk and run in. Some of these I’ve never tried I just think look cool!
The ones I run or run/walk in are because they fit my feet right for running. I’ve put countless hours on my New Balance 2002Rs walking but wouldn’t run in them, and I’ve put a bunch of miles on my Nordas running but wouldn’t walk in them.
