What would be appropriate attire for a casual casino?

Next year I'll be going to a convention, and staying at a hotel, now the hotel is semi-classy (Artificial marble, wood texture hallway with carpet, flower pattern sofa's in the restaurant, etc.) Now the surrounding area, where the hotel is in, is pretty dead. It's mostly industrial stuff or no-mans land. But the hotel does have a casino (and a spa I suppose but a reservation is quite costly for just 30 minutes), so I'll be setting aside some money and will be playing a bit in the casino after the convention and dinner, got to do something after all. Now the casino isn't a big casino or anything fancy for that matter, it's all slot machines and 1 or 2 semi-electronic roulette tables. Most patrons from any time I've been there are retired people with the occasional young person just wanting to have a bit of fun... By spending around €500. Anyway, all that story aside; Despite it being a very casual casino with no real human dealers, I still want to dress nice. I could bring my 3-piece light grey suit but I feel that might be a bit overdressed for this casual type of casino. Not to mention I don't have dress shoes, only my recently-bought Chelsea boots, and I can't afford to buy any dress shoes right now. So, my question to you all is; What kind of attire would be appropriate for a casual casino? It's all low-stakes with a minimum usually of €0,20, at least in roulette. And the casino themselves has no dress code aside from no hats. If any of that matters.

idk what your wardrobe is but personally I would run a 2 piece suit or just a blazer with some kinda floral shirt if I was going to a real casual casino and trying to look nice the 3 piece might be a lil overkill but then again who wouldn't want to look really classy while going to a casino or higher end hotel

You are really overthinking this I think. Wear whatever you want because they surely don't care. Throw on a sport coat and you will probably be among the best dressed Just be comfortable, mentally and physically, in whatever you wear and enjoy yourself

Sure, chelsea boots are fine. So are any sort of dressy boot. You wouldn't wear an obviously-workwear boot with a suit but otherwise go for it, this is ........ low stakes 😎
