Uneven first layer
Hi I have a V-Core3 500 and the first layer is always uneven where some parts are much too close to the bed and others are too far away! I have it set up to probe 100 points with and inductive probe and it still won’t work. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Stupid question, but have you property heat-soak the bed before starting?

yes
It looks too close to the bed everywhere. Are you loading a saved mesh or running a fresh mesh before each print?
Did you run a z-tilt before you meshed?
(and do you z-tilt before you print?)
100 points is over the top, that shouldn't be needed

I'm having the exact same problem. Z-tilt is always performed, tried a 10x10 grid on a 500, and yet the first layers vary wildly. I'm attempting to print 50 parts in a batch and the first layers are on average 0,2, but I've measured 0,14 to 0,25+ on the same print (with 10x10 grid), the + being failed parts because they don't stick obviously. So even if your z-offset is too low, it should consistently be so for the entire bed yet yours also seems to change. I'm afraid I am also clueless about a solution.

Yes I run z tilt and a new mesh every print

hi I have a beacon on my 3.1 500 and I have the same problem even with 900 point it does not mouve the plate enought to compensate
Are you guys loading the mesh at the start of the print ?
variable_bed_mesh_profile: "ratos"
In the print.cfg

it re create the mesh a the start of each print
Hello do you solve the problem ? I think I have the same
I have the same problem on 3.1 500 when printing ~500mm long object
The latest release of RatOS from a few days ago pretty much fixed my issues completely. Now z-axis compensates properly according to beacon scan and the ripples and inconsistencies from front to back and left to right are equalized in the first layer.
