This episode of Articles of Interest reminded me how much I love corduroy and now I'm hunting for the perfect corduroy trucker jacket. And I ordered a corduroy hat. And a(nother) corduroy shirt. Why is it so great? I don't know.

I say cord it up! Also that shoe makes me want corduroy pants where the wales go sideways on the legs rather than vertically. For a kind of corrugated tube effect, like robot legs. I need this.

It is indeed! Feels like pure quality in the hand and looks even better in person than the product photos. I would say sizing is true to size if you want a classic trucker jacket fit. Sizing up would give you room to layer underneath without looking bulky. Can’t say enough good things about this jacket!

A Kind of Guise has some phenomenal corduroy pieces this fall. Same with Wythe. They have a pair of blue cord pants with flecks of color like a Shetland sweater. So good

corduroy is love, corduroy is life. My only issue with corduroy is that it is difficult to wear multiple pieces of corduroy that are not from exactly the same fabric. Because I would love to wear more of it at once
