vc3 rapido uhf issue

I have a rapido uhf on my vc3. I cannot calibrate the offset as it keeps saying move out of range. It’s over a few mm away after trying to calibrate

Which probe do you have?

BL Touch - you need the volcano mount for EVA 3 https://main.eva-3d.page/heat_insert/probes/bl_touch_volcano/ Pinda - Move it down in the holder
EVA - BL-touch Volcano
EVA 3 - 3D printer carriage platform

That is where I got the out of range error -5.5

Looks like your nozzle will touch before your bltouch will in that picture

I’m going through the z offset setup so babystepping z down to get my z offset so clicking z down 1mm at a time as it is many mm above the bed
blacksmithforlife
What are you using to do the baby stepping? By default it moves 5mm away so it is suspicious that it gave you a -5.5 value. Did you use testz? TESTZ Z=-.1 for example https://www.klipper3d.org/Bed_Level.html#the-paper-test

position_min: -5 # Needed for z-offset calibration and tilt_adjust. Its whenever i try to z offset by more than negative 5 so maybe this is causing it? this is in config/printers/v-core-3/steppers.cfg Unknown command:"TESTZ" ah that only works in a probe calibrate When getting the print head anywhere near the bed I get…. horizontal_move_z can't be less than probe's z_offset When I try to print
blacksmithforlife
Yeah the z_offset just defaults to 5, you can increase it
