Significant performance drop after changing GUI Scale [Iris 1.8.0-beta.3+1.21.1] [NF only!]

From what I observed this primarily affects the use of shader packs, ComplementaryReimagined_r5.2.2 + EuphoriaPatches_1.3.2 being used as an example however not exclusive to it. Iris 1.8.0 Beta 3 Incompatible with Skyblocker

It seems that as of beta 3 trying to load the latest Skyblocker release (1.22.0+1.21.1) alongside Iris causes the game to crash due to a mismatched local variable type in the WorldRenderer class. Solution:
This was caused by a Mixin bug that caused conflicts between our mods which is now fixed in Fabric Loader 0.16.4 :')

Problems about Iris with Distant Horizions on Minecraft 1.20.1

Hi, I would like to ask that Distant Horizons 2.2 includes version 1.20.x, but the dependent Iris 1.8 beta-3 only supports 1.21 (1.20.1 is still stuck at 1.7.2), so how do I upgrade to DH 2.2 for my 1.20.x?

Everytime i try updating some random error pops up telling me to replace and im not sure were to fins that correct version of distant horizons and also the other mods.

Log spam in current iris 1.8 build

I noticed in my log files that this particular line is being spammed in the logs: [12:31:24] [Render thread/INFO]: OpenGL debug message: id=1282, source=API, type=ERROR, severity=HIGH, message='GL_INVALID_OPERATION error generated. No active program.' I'm not sure what was the cause of this. I heard it was something to do with a previous litematica build, but i used a newer released version with fixes and the log spam is still there, i even disabled some texture mods and it still occurs. I am not sure if this is on the part of iris or on one or more mods that i am using. This only occurs after updating iris and sodium to their latest versions....

Rethinking Voxels still shows default clouds along with shaders' clouds

Even with clouds turned off in settings, they still show.

In 1.8.0-beta2, shaders no longer load if shaderpacks directory is a symlink

I can still see them in a list, but trying to load any shader fails. I attached what comes up in the log when I try to load BSL

Iris + Fabric 1.20.2 + Mods Instant quit MC after lunching NO crash reports

hello when i install iris + sodium in my mod folder to play mc with fabric mods, my game crashes, it launches normally and when it reaches the red loading screen it quits the game with NO crash report, please help me

Default clouds won't go away

Default clouds still remain while using complementary shaders on latest iris 1.8 beta2
Solution:
Those are Distant Horizons clouds. You can disable them in Distant Horizons settings > Advance settings > Graphics > (i forgot which option menu :ioa:).

Iris error with distant horizons

One of my server members is unable to get iris shaders to work with distant horizons. I can get it to work just fine. Crash with sodium 0.6.0

Inconsistent, I cant figure out exactly whats causing it or if its a mod incompatibility

IterationT 3.0 not loading

I enabled a few options in the shader settings and then it failed to load so I disabled everything I enabled but it still failed to load. error message: net.minecraft.class_2973: Invalid shaders/core/moving_block.json: The call method_34416 is not cancellable. It did work before....
Solution:
IterationT is not supported.

It's requesting me to remove the exact version it requires me to use.

I have no clue how this occurred or if there's even a way to fix it.

Performance Regression in the Sodium and Iris Betas

My performance has been basically halved in the latest versions with shaders enabled

Parts become black with shaders - Emotecraft 1.21 + Iris 1.8

Using Complementary 5.2.2, Emotecraft fork for 1.21 and newest Sodium / Iris. When shaders enabled, some parts may become black (main skin layer or secondary layer)...
