Significant performance drop after changing GUI Scale [Iris 1.8.0-beta.3+1.21.1] [NF only!]

From what I observed this primarily affects the use of shader packs, ComplementaryReimagined_r5.2.2 + EuphoriaPatches_1.3.2 being used as an example however not exclusive to it. Also this happens only, I believe, when a shader pack is currently active during the settings change. For good measure: https://mclo.gs/kE9jnNH + video attached for proof, again

Update: Now running NeoForge 21.1.65 with Sodium 0.6.0 beta 2, Iris 1.8.0 beta 5 and Euphoria Patcher 1.4.1 r5.3 I discovered: Pressing F11 twice in order to exit and reenter full screen does reset the aforementioned lowered framerate by some magical power in heaven The issue in of itself persists however and remains exclusive to the NeoForge mod loader from the testing I have done I am also in the process of trying out various different settings changes in order to potentially make even greater and weirder finding on the matter As before, testing is done with a shader pack currently active Specifically Complementary Reimagined R5.3 + EP

However not all is conclusive as even the full screen "fix" in fact does not appear to completely resolve the issue but instead lower the "penalty" applied Pre-F11 used twice

And then of course the gui scale stuff

The difference between Pre-F11 and Post can however be much more substantial as shown with a personally configured modpack and shader pack combo

No need for the gui scale screenshot as this time it's the same value, hovering around 125 fps rather than the previous 165
